Megan Levis

Research Interests: Systems bioengineering, synthetic biology, biotechnology, tech policy, human-computer interfaces
Megan Levis recently completed her Ph.D. studies in Bioengineering at the University of Notre Dame. Her interest in technology ethics relates to questions concerning how biotechnology shapes cultural understanding of what it means to be human. Megan is also working on research questions relating to the ethics of engineered living systems. She is developing and teaching several tech ethics courses for the University with the center’s support. Megan’s postdoctoral fellowship is advised by Walter Scheirer.
