The Notre Dame Technology Ethics Center (ND TEC) is looking to hire Notre Dame students for summer 2022 to design and develop short videos (approximately 60 seconds each) explaining technology ethics concepts for a broad audience on social media and elsewhere.

Working directly with ND TEC doctoral fellow Carolina Villegas-Galaviz, the student animation project team will consist of several animators as well as a content specialist. The team’s goal will be to create a series of 10-12 short videos on privacy, surveillance, fairness, different types of bias in AI, and other issues in tech ethics. Students will be given authorship credit for their productions.

While these positions are designed for remote work, students in the South Bend area for the summer will have access to the ND TEC offices in O’Shaughnessy Hall. Schedules will be flexible, with students able to work up to 20 hours per week. The positions will pay $15 per hour.
