Undergraduate Minor in Technology Ethics
As companies and governments increasingly grapple with the social consequences of AI and other technical systems, the undergraduate minor in tech ethics helps set Notre Dame students apart by equipping them with a variety of interdisciplinary frameworks to evaluate, analyze, and improve applications of emerging technologies.
We also have an email list specifically for Notre Dame undergraduates, regardless of whether they've declared the minor or not, who are interested in keeping up with news from ND TEC.

Teaching Resource Library
For faculty looking for ideas on how to design their own tech ethics course or incorporate tech ethics readings into one they already teach, the teaching resource library features syllabi and other information from some of the classes that have been designated as fulfilling a requirement for ND TEC’s undergraduate minor in tech ethics.

ND TEC Graduate Student and Postdoc Affiliates Group
ND TEC’s Graduate Student and Postdoc Affiliates group meets every other Friday. Members read a seminal article in tech ethics ahead of time and then have an informal discussion about it over lunch, which is provided by the center. The meetings are a great way for graduate students and postdocs to network with each other as well as with ND TEC leadership while also enhancing their academic training in preparation for entering the job market, where opportunities in tech ethics continue to grow.
